This was a very engrossing book That had me hooked every time I turned a page. This was a great starter to Harry potter and I can't wait to read the second one
The book was right up my street and so out there. the're are so many kids that love this book
I give this a 5/5 stars ⭐️and here are my reasons:
I really like the opening of the book how it decribes everything. In the first two pages it already decribes Vernon Dursley how he is on his way to work when he sees a cat looking at a sign almost like reading it, They also describe the Dursley family, Dudley Dursley the only child of Petunia and Vernon Dursley. At the start of the movie or the first chapter of The book you read that Hagrid, Dumbledore and the cat McGongall leave Harry at the Dursley’s home because of what happened to his parents ( They were killed by You Know Who). I just love the detail in the book how it explains why their leaving him there. Later on in the series you find out that how they got killed and they way J.k Rowling explains it feels Like i am in The book. Everytime I read it feels like I’m in the book experiencing everything it feels so real. The end of the book when they all gather around of the end of the year feast. I felt so happy when they won. The quidditch matche was so good my heart started beating so fast when I read it it felt like I was Harry.
The book just makes me so happy it’s one of the best books I have ever read so far Right niw I’m on the 5th book of Harry Potter. Harry Potter and the philosopher stone is so good the details the friendship and the book is just so good so in conclusion this book is great I totally recommend to kids
